A selection of silversmithing work not involving lampwork, although other materials might feature. A quick word about 'sterling silver' - the assay office forbids the use of the term 'sterling silver' for any individual item not hallmarked, but weighing over 7.8 grams. Unless hallmarked, such work legally has to be sold as 'white metal'. My maker's mark is registered with the assay office here in Sheffield, but as a new Mum, I don't currently find the time to get my work hallmarked, hence I am only selling work under the legal weight at the moment (for earrings, this counts per earring). Please do check back, as I have some gorgeous larger pieces which I will be listing once they are marked. If you are interested in buying a piece of 'white metal' (i.e. not hallmarked), please contact me at mail@littlecastledesigns.co.uk. Click on any picture to see an enlarged version.
