Seen the interchangeable Alcazar ring tops and like them? Come and spend three hours in the studio to learn how to make them - we will start with simple round ones, and, depending on skill and confidence level, may move on to use presses and moulds to create more advanced shapes. We will look at how to account for the steel insert in the glass, discuss gluing vs. working directly on steel, and there will b the opportunity to buy rings and pendants to wear or sell on your creations at a reduced price, and compatible nuts and mandrels to carry on working at home. This course is not an absolute beginners course, but is suitable for anybody who can make a straight-forward round bead.
Cost: £60 for 3 hours, incl. materials (a slight surcharge may apply for extensive use of expensive materials, e.g. silver glass or gold leaf). Materials to carry on at home (nuts, threaded mandrels, etc.) and ring/pendant blanks can be purchased on the day.
