One of Shakespeare's sonnets (more specifically, the excerpt 'Love is not love, which alters where it alteration finds' cut from the overall text) on a vintage-look polka dot heart (plain polka dots on back). Wired up in sterling siver, the full pendant (including bail) measures 5x3cm approx. Comes on a 16" sterling chain.
Ever since I made Dive! earlier in the summer, I was itching to make another. This one features a 32mm lentil focal with sculptural starfish, mounted on a handmade lampwork sterling silver headpin - with more starfish. Unline Dive!, there is no black in this bead, it's all silvered ivory. The chain is ever so slightly less chunky than in Dive!, but still a solid sterling silver belcher chain. It is front-closing, with a Karen Hill Tribe silver shell clasp. Chain length approx. 21".
This necklace is based on Jenny Joseph's poem 'Warning' - When I'm an old woman, I shall wear purple, with a red hat that doesn't go, and doesn't suit me. You can read the full poem on my blog here. The necklace is about 17" long, and sterling silver.
I had this white little rose for a long time, always intending to wire her up. Then, I got these beautiful lavender coloured pearls, and finally the rose knew what she wanted to be. The rose itself measures about 29mm across, and she has been set in my own custom sterling silver finding. The ceramic beads separating the pearls have been covered with fine silver. Just...lovely. Overall length is roughly 17".
